OUR STORY

Firearms have always been an important part of my life. Growing up I would help my father with his reloading as well as clean our guns after every hunt. I learned early in life the importance of proper maintenance on your firearms to avoid costly repairs later on. My family were avid hunters and that became just a way of life for me as I was growing up. After I graduated from high school I joined the military and thanks to my upbringing I made marksman ever time I had to qualify with a weapon. I did two tours in Iraq before getting discharged from an injury received in combat. After the military I still had a great love of firearms and began building and modifying my personal firearms to increase their performance and safety. My love for firearms eventually got me into doing full blown gunsmithing where I was able to learn how to properly work with different materials, restore and repair firearms, as well as to fine tune aftermarket parts to ensure they properly function within custom builds. This lead me to a point where I wanted to go into business for myself rather than do work for others so I decided to attend SDI (Sonoran Desert Institute) to help build credibility for my future business. I graduated magna cum laude as a certified gunsmith, handgun specialist, and for my degree in firearm technology. SDI proved more so to be a basic foundational school for people interested in pursuing a career in the gun community rather then truly making someone into what I would comfortably say a gunsmith is, but it was still a worthy endeavor and one I would encourage others to pursue to gain the confidence to begin their journey towards becoming a gunsmith. Finally I felt ready go into business for myself and my wife and I made it official in Dec 2024. Now we are excited to get to further meet and help everyone in our community to ensure they have access to top quality gunsmithing services at a fair price.
